About Us
Living By Design starts by investing time to get to know you and what's important to you. How do you like to live? What are your favourite things to do with family and friends? How do you see yourself living in 5 to 10 years? All very important questions for a beautiful custom made design that reflects you and your lifestyle. Living By Design is an experienced interior design firm, committed to creating original and individual interiors of quality that stand the test of time. We work very closely and collaboratively with our clients towards stunningly creative, innovative interiors – be they residential or commercial. Our spatial design approach comprises of a broad range of services from property styling, interior design, to complete structural indoor/outdoor configuration. Having designed stunning homes around the world and experienced many cultures and styles, we believe that space and style must fit your life – finding this match and bringing it to life, is what drives us. Many designs and styles can be quite stunning, but if it doesn't suit the way you live, and reflect who you are, then it's not necessarily a good fit. If you want a stunningly unique design that is a true extension and expression of who you are and what you value, we'd love to talk with you.

When we built our house, we planned for the obligatory "formal dining room" space, that didn't really work out as such. After trying a few different approaches on our own, we asked Louise to come in and give us a fresh take on how to re-imagine the room. We told her we liked to entertain and often had families over, so having another casual entertainment zone seemed an obvious solution -but we wouldn't have gotten there on our own! Louise listened, understood and provided a simple and elegant solution. What was once an unused "reading room" is now a bar area that has personality and style that reflects us and how we live. Thanks Louise, you've helped us get more out of home and we live your work! We highly recommend Living By Design.

I talked to lots of other designers before I found Louise, she was the one that really understood our needs which I wasn't finding from allot of others Louise was amazing to work with, a great listener and really creative. Her interior designs were stunning and really unique, they truly work with our lifestyle.
